How Investing Works

Investing on Tokinvest is designed to be straightforward, secure and fully compliant with UAE regulation. Here's what happens from the moment you sign up to the moment you hold your first token.

1. Create Your Account

Getting started takes a few minutes. Head to the Tokinvest platform and click Sign Up. You'll enter your name, email address and a password, then agree to our terms and conditions.

We'll send a confirmation code to your inbox to verify your email, just paste it back into the portal to continue. Finally, you'll set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using an authenticator app on your phone, adding an extra layer of security to your account for every future login.

2. Verify Your Identity (KYC)

Before you can invest, we need to confirm who you are. This is a regulatory requirement, and it protects both you and the wider Tokinvest marketplace.

You'll need:

• A valid form of ID - a passport, driver's license, or, for UAE residents, your Emirates ID (mandatory for Dubai property token purchases)
• A recent proof of address - a utility bill, bank statement, or official government document dated within the last three months

The process is guided step by step: you'll photograph your ID, complete a quick liveness check, confirm a few personal details, and upload your proof of address. Once submitted, our team reviews everything, and you'll be notified as soon as you're verified.

3. Fund Your Account

With verification complete, you're ready to deposit funds. From your account menu, select Deposit, choose domestic or international transfer, and enter the amount you'd like to add.

You'll be given Tokinvest's bank details along with a unique payment reference. It's essential that this reference is included with your transfer, as it's how we match your funds to your account. Deposits from within the UAE are typically reflected instantly; international transfers can take 24–48 hours. Your funds are held securely in Tokinvest's Client Money Account with Zand Bank, a Central Bank UAE-approved institution.

4. Browse and Subscribe

Once your account is funded, visit the Marketplace to explore available assets. Each listing includes the information you need to make an informed decision, from the whitepaper to the risk disclosure statement.

Found something you'd like to invest in? Click Subscribe, enter the number of tokens you want to purchase, and confirm your order. Assets are allocated once a token sale is fully subscribed, at which point your holdings will appear on your dashboard.

5. Security and Compliance, Built In

Every step above is underpinned by our regulatory framework. Tokinvest partners with regulated custodians and follows VARA's rules on custody, anti-money laundering and data protection. Our Virtual Asset Standards govern how assets are assessed before listing, and every asset carries its own risk disclosure alongside our platform-wide Risk Disclosure Statement.
